Throwback to a few weeks ago when our residents at Westoe Grange in South Shields sat outside in the garden at the care home and made the most of the glorious sunshine.

Getting creative and trialling out new crafting projects has proven to be a hit at the Gardens care home in Darlington, as many of our residents came together recently to take part in a crafting session.

Westoe Grange care home in South Shields has been graced with some home visitors over the past week. Many of our loved ones have missed out on seeing their loved ones during the pandemic, but now we are starting to phase return home visitors in a safe manner.

Our care staff are always over the moon to receive a thank you card from our resident’s loved ones. Our resident Brian has a daughter called Vicky, who sent us this thoughtful card.

For a relaxing afternoon during the week, our residents at the Gardens care home in Darlington have been getting creative with a flower arranging session.

It’s always a special occasion in any of our care homes when a resident celebrates their birthday with us. Our care team were honoured to celebrate Gloria’s birthday with her at the Gardens care home in Darlington.
