Residents within Ascot Care homes will find that even though they are living in residential care, the things they loved to do and see before, are still as accessible to them now as they ever were. Having our own facilities within the homes along with local attractions and regular outings organised by our events coordinator, our residents are sure to be regularly entertained and catered for if they have specific activities they wish to pursue.
Above are images of residents of The Gardens Care Home in Darlington enjoying a special Valentine’s meal together. In the afternoon Brenda, a resident of Castleview Care Home who regularly tickles the ivories, played the piano to entertain fellow residents with songs they know and love. Earlier in the month residents of Springfield Lodge were treated to an afternoon of live music performed by an Al Jolson tribute band, so there really is varied entertainment on a regular basis.
Above and below are images of residents of Castleview Care Home, who were taken by the Ascot Care luxury minibus for a day out around Amble, seeing the sights, breathing in the sea air and enjoying warming up in a local cafe with coffee and cake. The minibus takes residents from all our homes to different locations on a regular basis throughout the whole year.
