A Very Big Thank You - Carers Week

This week we are celebrating Carers Week from Monday 12th - Sunday 18th June. This is an annual campaign that raises awareness of the hard work that goes into caring and to highlight the challenges carers can face.
 
The incredibly supportive staff of Ascot Care are no exception, and we want to say a huge thank you to each one for their continued hard work.
 
Here at Ascot Care, we make sure every carer receives all the training they need to support people in whatever way they can. Our residential care homes and nursing homes across the UK have staff members who can offer specialists care to people as well as offer respite and day care to support fellow carers in need of hours or days off.
 
As an agency, we also have a group of incredible carers who are available to help out other residential care homes and nursing homes when they need additional temporary staff members.  Our home care team care for clients in their own homes and go above and beyond to ensure the clients are well cared for in a safe environment.
 
Carers Week highlights and celebrates the 6.5 million in the UK who are unpaid carers to loved ones. The campaign sets out to build Carer Friendly Communities by asking people to recommend an organisations, services and employers who are carer friendly, as well as asking people and organisations to pledge themselves as being carer friendly.
 
Ascot Care offer free training and awareness in Dementia as well as a host of other courses so if your require training or assistance with care or assistance in finding staff we can help.
