Ascot Care crowned gold!

We’re proud to announce that we have been awarded the Gold Award at the Armed Forces Covenant.

After previously taking home the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award in 2018 for our dedicated support to Hire a Hero - a charity that helps veterans make the transition back into civilian working life.

Director of Ascot Care, Gareth Nesbitt, said: “We were delighted to have attended the Silver Armed Forces Covenant Award Ceremony and to be recognised for our continuous support to those who have served.

“We strive to increase our level of commitment to the Reserves, service leavers, veterans, the wounded, injured and sick, cadets, military spouses or partners and their families.  We have made a commitment and will continue to do this through events and fundraisers such as our annual Charity Golf Day, which raises funds and  awareness for our nominated charity Hire a Hero.

“The fact that we have now been awarded the gold standard is a huge honour and great recognition for the hard work the ascot care team put into supporting the armed forces community”

The Armed Forces Covenant Award Ceremony’s Employer Recognition Scheme awards 100 employer each year for their commitment to improving the lives of those who have served.

The Employers Recognition Scheme Gold Awards represents the highest standard of honour available to those who employ or support those who have served, veterans and their families.
