Castleview residents knit for charity

Residents of Castleview Care Home in Alnwick have been busy knitting. They have donated a full bag of knitted blankets to the Cats Protection Charity. Residents have been knitting squares which have been joined to make blankets and have been given to the volunteers who house the cats. The charity finds homes for homeless or unwanted cats and provides them with warmth, shelter, food, medication and the love they need. Additional blankets made by the residents of Castleview Care Home will also be sold, donating the money back to the charity. The Cats Protection Charity have sent a letter of thanks to the residents to show their appreciation of all the hard work they have put in. Well done to our residents at Castleview!
