Summer Fayre and David's Day
Springfield Lodge care home held their Summer Fayre on Friday 26th June and paid tribute to their valued staff member David who sadly passed away last month.
The day was a wonderful time for all and gave us time to reflect on David who is a dearly missed member of our team.
Thank you to the families who donated some fantastic prizes for our raffle including an amazing three night stay in a Lodge in Inverness for our lucky 1st prize winner. This outstanding raffle raised a whopping £1,055 by our generous friends and family.
The event had a social distanced singer for entertainment, lots of dancing and singing from our residents, followed by a BBQ buffet for tea.
We would like to introduce our new Chef Tom who provided an amazing BBQ for staff and residents on our Fayre. We’d also like to say a huge thank you to William Pete butchers (Barnard Castle) who gave us a fantastic discount on the meat provided for our party.
