World food celebration

To celebrate world wide foods and their connections to the nationalities of our residents at Springfield Lodge care home, the care home has worked together with West Rainton and Leemside Dementia Friendlly Group to provide a delicious tapas of takeaway food.

Chef Tom put together a delicious selection of dishes for our residents to try, including dishes from Malta, Scotland, Poland, Spain, Iran and Belgium. We’d like to thank him for his time and efforts in creating tempting takeaway treats.

The dishes proved to be a hit and everyone loved trying something new and familiar for many.
