Our resident Maureen at Spingfield Lodge in West Rainton has been busy showcasing their new painting of a pit pony with a pitman.

Resident from the Gardens, Ken, recently received a visit to the window from his sister in law Betty, his nephew Anthony and Anthony’s wife Karron.

Our management staff from St Anne’s in Whitley Bay, Bev and Jo, have been gifted these beautiful flowers and thank you cards from our care team.

Friday 26th June was a very special day at Springfield Lodge, as well as the annual care home open day it marked a very special inaugural occasion as the very first David Day.

Last week saw us graced with some very hot days meaning our residents enjoyed the outdoors and some ice cream to cool down.
