There’s a new game our residents have been playing at the Gardens care home in Darlington. Our residents have been enjoying a game of Hoopla, where the the aim is to get the hoop on the pole.

We’d like to wish our resident Derek from the Gardens care home a very happy birthday. We hope he had a wonderful day celebrating with delicious cake and gifts.

Our residents have been keeping themselves entertained by playing ball games indoors, from catch, to many more. It’s important for our staff to find new and exciting games and activities for our residents to play and keep them happy.

In honour of Alzheimer’s Day, our resident Jean from Westoe Grange care home in South Shields spent some time colouring in forget-me-nots.

There’s been a special birthday celebration at St Anne’s care home in Whitley Bay, as their resident Mavis celebrated her 90th birthday yesterday.

Our residents love nothing more than seeing their loved ones and has times have changed, many of our residents met their loved ones through our care home windows.
