Many of our residents came together at St Anne’s care home in Whitley Bay to enjoy a games day, where they played a variety of classic games with each other.

Both our staff and residents at the Lawns showed their respects for Armistice Day as they watched a live service from Westminster Abbey.

At the Gardens care home in Darlington, our residents crafted their own poppies to honour Remembrance Day. Residents used a variety of materials and art supplies to make their own poppy to decorate the care home with.

Everyone at St Anne’s care home in Whitley Bay took part in a two minute silence to honour Remembrance Day. Many went outside to recognise the occasion and reminisce.

There has been lots of activities and events for our residents to take part in at Castleview care home. From the Bright Project that saw our residents crafting items for Remembrance Day and a visit from a resident’s pet.
