Staff member from St Anne’s Care Home, Danielle Powell, celebrated her 30th birthday with the rest of the care team and residents on Saturday 27th February.

There’s nothing our residents at St Anne’s Care Home love more than a dance and sing-a-long to familiar music. It certainly lifts everyone’s spirits.

Following the recent Government announcements regarding a return to allowing indoor visiting in care homes, and potentially the holding of hands, we are reviewing our guidance and planning for and looking forward to a safe, phased and cautious return to indoor visiting within our Care Homes.

Many of our residents at St Anne’s enjoy using the Rita system to play games and watch videos. Our residents have recently been watching a selection of movies through the Rita system,

Both our care staff and residents at the Lawns Care Home in Monkseaton were over the moon to receive a generous gift from Takdir Indian restaurant, Gulshan and Waffles and Cones.
