About the Blackwell Suite
Located within the grounds of The Gardens Care Home in Darlington, the Blackwell Suite is a new, purpose-built unit specialising in Brain Injury and Challenging Behavior care, which operates independently from our age-based care services.
Led by dedicated nurses and supported by highly qualified staff, the Blackwell Suite provides a secure and tailored setting for individuals living with acquired brain injuries or other mental health conditions, including those who may exhibit behaviour deemed as challenging to others.
The Blackwell Suite may be a home for life, or a stepping stone to more independent living, and we welcome Residents who may be physically fit, but require some degree of support in their daily activities, as well as those who require intense specialist support.
With expertise and compassion combined, we aim to create a pleasant and secure living environment where our Residents can feel safe, comfortable and at ease.
