We are pleased to announce that our Care Home Manager from Springfield Lodge in West Rainton, Helen Reeve, has won the Carer of the Year Award at the County Durham Together Awards.

Our care staff from St Anne’s are saddened to wish Yvonne goodbye as she is leaving Ascot Care this week. However we wish her all the best for the future.

With the current sustained community transmission of COVID-19 in Darlington, in line with national guidance, we are set to cease all non-essential visits into your care home.

Due to the recent increase in cases of Coronavirus within South Tyneside and the need to ensure appropriate measures are taken to reduce further transmission within the community

Durham County Council, in taking into account current Government guidelines and the local statistics available, it is clear that the level of community infection is rising in Durham.
