Springfield Lodge care home statement

Durham County Council has provided guidance for Springfield Lodge care home. In taking into account current Government guidelines and the local statistics available, it is clear that the level of community infection is rising in Durham.

Therefore, their professional assessment is that care home visiting should be restricted, with no visitors until further notice.  Family visits for residents should be restricted to only those on an end of life pathway, with appropriate infection control measures in place.
